Carolina Dermatology offers a team of dedicated professionals that are passionate about your skin's health. We perform full body skin examinations for the diagnosis and treatment of skin cancer and precancerous lesions as well as effective preventative care. Symptoms of skin cancer vary which is why it is important to see a dermatologist when you notice a new growth or changes in existing moles on the skin. Early diagnosis is critical to the successful treatment of skin cancer. We also treat a variety of skin conditions including but not limited to: acne, eczema, allergic contact dermatitis, cysts, skin tags, hair loss, molluscum, psoriasis, rosacea, and warts.
Surgical
Our providers are experienced and specially trained to perform a wide range of surgical procedures including: excisional surgery, electrosurgery, cryosurgery and Mohs surgery. Most of the procedures and techniques are performed in our office with little recovery time.

Levulan Kerastick + BLU-U Photodynamic Therapy (PDT)
We are happy to announce that we now offer blue light photodynamic therapy for the treatment of actinic keratoses.
LEVULAN® KERASTICK® + BLU-U ®combines a powerful 20% aminolevulinic acid HCl (ALA) topical treatment with blue-light precision, while minimizing exposure to deeper tissue.
It is the only PDT indicated for the treatment of minimally to moderately thick actinic keratoses of the face or scalp, or actinic keratosis of the upper extremities.
